We need to protect and repair a rapidly changing world, due to the effects of Climate Change. Most of us can feel a tangible difference in the weather as opposed to when we were kids. Even 10-15 years ago, the weather was much different. We are accelerating into an uncharted era of global weather disasters, catalyzed by human carelessness. We need to protect our environment for during this century. As a members of Congress:

  • We must be strong advocates for new energy policies that combat climate change while creating new industries and jobs.

  • We must demand energy efficiency and water conservation. Especially with rising AI use, more and more water and energy is being wasted to power billionaire pet projects.

  • We must push the ball forward on sustainable and walkable communities.

  • We must fund the development and implementation of alternative energy, and safeguard it so that it does not become overly expensive and price gouged. This will target climate change, and serve as an attempt to lower energy costs for families.

  • We must protect the EPA from damage inflicted by the Trump administration, and support them in their pursuit of finding and punishing polluters.

  • We must seize on the chance to grow our economy and create new jobs and job industries by investing in, and working to cheaply implement green and alternative energy power.

  • We must, as the Congress, play a substantial role in supporting local industries during the transition to renewable energy, so that we maintain our economy, while improving our businesses. A clean economy gives us an edge in the global economy, creating thousands of jobs, and supporting new industries.

  • We must truly hold companies accountable for oil spills. This includes higher fines, and revocation of drilling permits. Additionally, we must revoke any unused permits, of which there are many, to focus on conservation of areas that have been ecologically depleted.

  • We must increase tax credits and rebates for moving to renewable energy sources such as solar panels, electric vehicles, etc.
