End Corruption

Our current political system is wrought with corruption. Special interests and lobbyists control many of our politicians, and the bills they write and pass.

We are running a campaign to bring an incorruptible voice to the halls of Congress. We are running to bring attention to the rot that consumes much of our government, that being corruption, and money in politics. When we win, we will introduce legislation, and fight to pass legislation, which bans Congressional stock trading, clears our political system of dark money, and introduces a constitutional amendment, which overturns Citizens United. Our politicians must be transparent, reject money from billionaires and special interests, and take orders from their constituents, not their donors. I would proudly vote for the  Freedom to Vote Act, which ends partisan gerrymandering, cracks down on dark money spending in our elections, establishes automatic voter registration, and fights corrupt and partisan voter suppression. In addition:

• We must bring back Glass Steagall, to protect Americans from having their money gambled

• We must BAN stock buybacks, which allow for short term profit and ability to dish out CEO bonuses, by diverting funds from investments in workers, or in innovation for consumers.

• We must fight Monopolies 

  • I will fight to implement and protect policies which save the American consumer from our rapid monopolization. True FREEDOM and American business practices emphasize COMPETITION.

• We must ban politicians from becoming lobbyists - after they leave office

• We must ban the carried interest loophole.

• We must ban the predatory payday loan industry.

• We must fight to protect the data privacy of American citizens

• We must fight to end illegal and unconstitutional NSA spying of American citizens.
