The future of America is made in America
The future of America is made in America

The working class American is the backbone of this country, and for too long they have been neglected. We need to return to policies which unburden the American worker.

  • We must fight to support unions, by voting for the PRO act and Card Check.

  • We must fight to raise the minimum wage, to implement universal paid sick leave and paid family leave, and fight against trade deals that outsource and send jobs overseas, and result in fewer things being MADE IN AMERICA. This must be reversed. We must return to being an industrial powerhouse. That means MORE manufacturing investments.

  • We must introduce, and then fight like hell for, a bill for federal jobs guarantees, and in the spirit of the New Deal, these jobs will be to better this nation, rebuilding roads, building cities, and ensuring jobs from cities to rural America.

  • We must work to push corporations to allow for further work from home opportunities and I will work to improve opportunities for trade jobs, strengthening unions and providing the youth of this country expanded access to apprenticeships, and paths into trade careers.

  • We must work to bring more job opportunities to the district, to keep generations of Long Islanders from fleeing for greener pastures.

  • We must not only acknowledge, but make a real effort toward combatting and protecting workers from automation and AI.

  • We must fight to implement Board-Level Employee Representation (BLER), nationwide, allowing workers to have a seat on corporate boards, and thus a direct say in the direction of the company which relies on their labor.

  • We must shift to a labor economy

    • We are currently an investment economy with artificially created bubbles everywhere.

      • We haven't changed a thing from what gave us the ‘08 crisis.

  • We must implement tax rebates for working class folks making under 150k a year.

  • We must implement free public college/trade school for those making under 80k a year.

  • We must BAN non-compete clauses.

  • We must regulate mergers, which enable the paying of massive dividends to shareholders, screwing workers in the meantime.
